This $16 million project focuses on two key buildings in the Brady Arts District: The Universal Ford Motor Company building and the Hotel Fox building. These buildings are key historic elements to the Brady Arts District. Located near the center of the neighborhood, these buildings present the best opportunity to attract more residents to the area while creating new opportunities for businesses to contribute to the density of the commercial district. The Hotel Fox and its adjoining building are two of the oldest buildings in Tulsa. The original Hotel Fox was built in 1906 by E.L. Fox, one of Tulsa’s pioneers.  The Universal Ford Motor Company building was built in 1917 and was the local dealer for Ford Model Ts.  The second floors of these buildings will add 31 one bedroom, two bedroom, and studio apartments to the neighborhood, priced affordably for artists, teachers, and entrepreneurs. GKFF selected businesses that add to the vibrancy of the Brady Arts District for the first floor.  The development will include a restaurant lounge, a brew pub, a bakery and an entrepreneur hub.
