Josh Miller is a Program Officer for the George Kaiser Family Foundation (GKFF) focused on place based strategies and civic enhancement. Josh led the $36 million construction of the mixed-income, 128 unit West Park apartments, a collaboration between GKFF, the University of Tulsa and McCormack Baron Salazar in the low-income Kendall Whittier neighborhood. The apartments currently have a waiting list of over 300 people. Josh also oversaw the $2.5 million renovation of an existing neighborhood park and through acquisition efforts, partnered with a local developer to build 10 new single family homes in Kendall Whittier. He oversees the foundation’s work in neighborhood development in the Kendall Whittier, 36 Street North & Peoria, and Eugene Field neighborhoods. Josh is the board president for the non-profit, Growing Together, the backbone organization overseeing the comprehensive in-school turnaround model, Diplomas Now, being implemented in the Eugene Field and Kendall-Whittier neighborhood schools. Prior to GKFF, Josh was a Vice President at the Folds of Honor Foundation and a Director of Athletics Compliance at the University of Oklahoma. Josh earned his law, undergraduate and graduate degree from the University of Oklahoma.
