Chris Wollard is an artist living and working in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He creates large scale sculptures that utilize a variety of materials, although metal is his preferred medium. He combines new technologies such as LEDs, micro controllers, and sensors with old metal working techniques to create a new visual and interactive experience for viewers. It is his hope to be able to bring this interactive sculpture to the public by creating public works that are easily accessible by the community as a whole. He is currently working on a large suspended internally illuminated sculpture for the new Hogan Assessments building in the Greenwood District. Chris lives near the University of Tulsa and the Kendall Whittier neighborhood.
